Lardirago Castle is available for conferences, workshops, professional training courses, and business meetings. It can be easily reached from both Pavia (in approximately 10 minutes) and Milan (in approximately 25 minutes) and it offers convenient parking solutions.
Conference Rooms
The Castle offers its guests two state-of-the-art and recently refurbished multimedia conference rooms, fitted out with audio and video equipment and full Wi-Fi network coverage.
The Main Room is a wide space equipped with rows of chairs, characterised by exposed brick walls and exposed beams. It features a multi-purpose mezzanine and several extra rooms for welcoming participants, registration activities and technical support.
The Tower Room is a smaller space equipped with chairs with foldable writing boards. It is a luminous, modern room which offers a contiguous extra room for administration activities, furnished with two work stations.
Relax, catering, outdoor activities
Work sessions can be alternated by catering, relaxing and team building activities.
Halls, Courtyard and Colonnades
The Liocorni Hall, the Internal Courtyard and the Colonnadesthat surround it offer an exclusive setting for buffet meals, light lunches, coffee breaks or team building activities.
The Liocorni Hallis an elegant room with wide windows, finely decorated with frescoes and a coffered ceiling, which can be furnished with round or imperial tables for business dinners or galas.
The Courtyardis an intimate space, overlooked by the Castle rooms It is possible to avail of generous spaces under the two colonnades: the recently refurbished West Colonnade is expansive and embellished by ceiling coffers and a frescoed wall; the smaller East Colonnade is enriched by ceiling coffers.
Gardens
The Castle is surrounded by expansive green spaces such as the Keep Garden, embellished by the scenic impact of the majestic façade, and the Tower Garden, surrounded by the ancient walls.
Both gardens offer an intimate and relaxed setting ideal for ceremonies, receptions, photo shoots or to prepare for the cutting of the wedding cake.
The Court Garden, located between the Ricetto and the Keep Garden, is an expansive green space, ideal for welcoming guests.
Lounge Area
Ideal for meetings and business meetings in a more informal atmosphere.
A customizable space
TheLounge Area, connected to the Liocorni Hall by the frescoed corridor, is furnished with small sofas and armchairs.
The easily removable and customisable furnishing makes it very versatile and suitable for coffee breaks and aperitifs.
Visiting the Castle
It is possible to combine events hosted in the Castle with a guided tour of the monument and the permanent exhibition “Lardirago and its territory”
Library
The Library, equipped with a state-of-the-art consultation and reading room and overlooking the Tower Garden, is a space available for book presentations, workshops, exhibits and small events.
Centro di Musica Antica
Through a tailored offer, the Centro di Musica Antica of the Fondazione Ghislieri–a renowned international Early Music Centre for historically informed music research and production– offers its experience and professional skills to Lardirago Castle through music accompaniment and actual concerts, thanks to a wide repertoire of music performed on period instruments.
